Ok so THIS is what I’ve been dying to share on my blog! This is what I finally accomplished!

The Humane Society’s To The Rescue! Event that I got to cover for my internship!! It is a Gala where celebrities and public figures come to support and fundraise for awareness on cruelty towards animals, and take action to stop puppy mills around the US.

I got to interview awesome people like Mayor Michael Bloomberg, his daughter Georgina, Colbie Caillait, the President and CEO of the HSUS Wayne Pacelle, Ali Wentworth, Olympian Sasha Cohen, and oh so many more!!!!

Here is the link to the ENGLISH video of the event if you are interested to learn more about it! http://ireport.cnn.com/docs/DOC-1064316

I was so fortunate to have been given this opportunity and I am so happy with the way it turned out. Of course I know there is so much more room for improvement, but like I said before, I am going to set my “self” criticism aside and be proud of what I completed. My first ever Production Package.

Oh if I could tell you the feelings I had during all of it. I was excited, anxious, a nervous wreck, but I was prepared! I was prepared with the idea that whatever was in front of me would flow on its own and I kept telling myself that if I made mistakes it was totally okay and normal and expected.

I am just so glad I got the first one over with because now, in the future as I continue moving forward towards my goals I can learn from this and keep improving. Baby steps!!!

Anyway, I hope you enjoy watching!
